About Chateau d'Esclans

Château d’Esclans is owned and run by Sacha Lichine who's original roots were in Margaux in Bordeaux but decided to move his wine making talent to the southern region of Provence and focus on rosé.

The estate makes several cuvee's including Garrus (the most expensive, Suckling called Garrus the “greatest rosé ever) , Les Clans, Rock Angel, The Palm by Whispering Angel and most famously Whispering Angel.

The d’Esclans site is in part what makes these wines so special, the parcel near the Gorges de Pennafort is elevated and has been known for wine making as far back as Gaullist times when in 1201 the then existing Chateau that was gifted to Gérard De Villeneuve by the Comte de Provence.

These days a lot of these great wines get exported with most going to the US, however there's still some to go around which we The Vinvm Team are very happy about!
