Product Notes

Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo Villero is a red wine hailing from the Piedmont region in northwestern Italy. It is made from the Nebbiolo grape variety and has a unique flavor profile that is characterized by notes of dark cherry, leather, and licorice. The wine has a medium to full body with moderate tannins and a long finish. This Barolo is aged in French oak barrels for 24 to 36 months, after which it is bottled and aged for an additional six to twelve months in the bottle. Giacomo Fenocchio Barolo Villero is a premium, complex wine that is best enjoyed with hearty meat dishes and strong cheeses.

Tasting Notes

The color is a deep garnet red with ruby reflections, with a bright and lively aspect. The scent is complex and rich with fruit, floral scents, spices, underbrush and plums. It has an intense flavor with sweet tannins and a long aftertaste. The Barolo Villero expresses itself with its characteristic stimulating scent accompanied by a dry, but warm and elegant flavor which it retains for a long time

Established in 1864, the Giacomo Fenocchio winery is one of the most significant and illustrious representatives of the wine industry.
