About Long Meadow Ranch
The property of Long Meadow Ranch was initially an agricultural land that thrived with apple orchards, vineyards, and olive groves around the late 1800s. In 1989, Laddie and Ted Hall purchased the plot and reconstructed it to what can get seen today. The name of the winery comes from the extended meadow housed in the site of the Mayacamas Mountain.
The Hall family nurtured the piece of land with all its desirable features and properties back to the glory it once had. They cut the abandoned trees and replanted the vineyards. They did so to allow the new grapevines to grow them to the perfect state effortlessly and conveniently. The family-owned winery aims to be a purveyor and producer of the highest quality wines worldwide. It strived to become economically and socially successful and responsible by employing sustainable, organic, and diversified methods and practices of viticulture. Overall, Long Meadow Ranch works by following and respecting the motto of focusing on excellence by using dependable and conscientious farming means. The vineyards owned by the winery get used to plant and cultivate Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Sangiovese.
In today’s time, Christopher Hall, the son of Laddie and Ted Hall, works in the winery actively alongside his parents. He serves in the position of Chief Operating Officer at Long Meadow Ranch. The entire Hall family handles and deals with the management and operations of the winery to make it a diversified wine producer in its field and take it to new levels.
Besides their wine, Long Meadow Ranch is also known for its horses, cattle, poultry, fresh produce, and olive oil. It also initiates several wine tastings and tours within the estate. In a nutshell, the winery primarily operates around wine, food, and hospitality.
