Product Notes
Louis Jadot Bourgogne Chardonnay ‘Couvent des Jacobins’ is a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Burgundy's Côte d'Or. The name 'Couvent des Jacobins' is derived from the location of the vineyard, which is near an old convent or monastery. This wine presents a pale golden color with glints of green. It boasts an intense, fruity bouquet with aromas of ripe apple, pear, and vanilla. On the palate, it is round and full-bodied, with a crisp acidity that balances the creaminess and richness of the fruit flavors. This wine pairs well with seafood, grilled fish, and white meats. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif.
Tasting Notes
A perfect introduction to the delights and complexity of real white Burgundy, this is mainly Côte d'Or fruit together with some Mâconnais. Fresh with lovely weight, delicate creaminess and judicious oak making this a beautifully balanced dry white.
