Product Notes

Mandrarossa Laguna Secca Chardonnay is a delightful white wine that exudes vibrant aromas of tropical fruits, vanilla, and honey. This refreshing wine is crafted from 100% Chardonnay grapes that are carefully selected from the finest vineyards in the Menfi region of Sicily. The wine has a straw-yellow color with green reflections and boasts a well-balanced acidity with a rich and creamy texture on the palate. The tropical fruit flavors are perfectly complemented by a hint of toasted oak, giving the wine a lovely complexity that lingers on the finish. This wine is an ideal accompaniment to fresh seafood dishes and creamy pasta sauces.

Tasting Notes

This wine is pale straw yellow in colour, with delicate green hues. On the nose, it has aromas of orange peel, oleander flower and prickly pear. The palate is powerful with good minerality and a long finish.

Seaside Vineyards - Located in the southern part of Sicily, this region has an excellent winemaking heritage to boast of. The high-altitude vines, along with the beautiful microclimatic conditions, help in growing different types of grape varietals. This area is rightly called the Paradise of Terroirs, because of its unique terroir quality.

Coast of Dunes - Containing strong African qualities, this desert terroir’s dry climate is perfect for cultivating three white wine grape varietals – Grecanico, Grillo and Nero d’Avola.
