About the Winery

Warburn Estate

Warburn Estate is the family-owned wine brand from Australia. This brand was set up during 1968 by the first generation Warburn family member. Today, the fourth generation of the family runs the estate with the strong family values and principles that were followed from the 1950s onwards. Today, the wines from Warburn Estate are not only affordable but also the most respected in the Riverina wine region in Australia.

The first ever grape plantings for the wines were done in Tharbogang many years ago. This is the name that has created popular wine under $7 – Gossips. Some of the popular ranges of wines created under this label are the following:

Gossips

Established in 2003, Gossips is the fastest growing wine from the Warburn Estate brand.  These wines are priced under $7, which is why they are highly popular across Australia. The grapes that are used for crafting this range come from the south eastern part of Australia.  Moscato, Blanc Semillon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Syrah are some of the varietals used for creating the Gossips range of wines.

Rumours

Designed for those who drink for enjoyment, the Rumours range of wines was created during 2012.  Though Moscato, Pinot Grigio and Shiraz are the most popular varietals used for crafting these wines, the other varietals that are used commonly are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot and Durif.

Sweet Lips Infusions

If you are a lover of white wines, you have to try the sweet lips infusion range of wines from Warburn Estate.  Here, white wines are infused with natural flavours of plants and fruits to cater to those who love low-alcohol content of wines. Hibiscus, Pomegrenate and Lime, Mango Ginger & Lemongrass, Orange Blossom & Nutmeg and Mango Elderflower & Passionfruit, created by Australia’s leading flavourists, form part of this range.
