Tasting Note

This bright garnet-red Carmenere presents a pleasing aromatic expression. It opens elegantly to reveal its spicy character of black pepper with soft, elegant notes of tea leaf, rosemary and damp earth with delicate notes of chocolate on the backdrop. The elegant palate is underscored by delicious acidity, silky tannins, good balance and great depth, with flavours that recall spices, roasted red bell pepper and red fruits.

Product Notes

Arboleda Carmenere is a deep and complex red wine that hails from the Aconcagua Valley of Chile. This full-bodied wine is made primarily from the Carmenere grape, which is known for its spicy and earthy aromas. The Arboleda Carmenere is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, which gives it additional layers of flavor and complexity. On the palate, this wine showcases flavors of ripe blackberry, plum, and chocolate, with a subtle hint of smokiness. The tannins are firm and well-structured, making it a great wine to pair with hearty meat dishes. Overall, the Arboleda Carmenere is a rich and bold wine that is sure to impress any red wine lover.

About the Winery

Arboleda

Arboleda, established in 1999, is a famous winery in Chile founded by Eduardo Chadwick, a Chilean vintner. The name of the wine estate translates to ‘a grove of trees.’ It serves as a tribute and acknowledgement to the Arboleda’s parcels that span over 1450 hectares of land in the native forest surrounding the vineyards.
