Product Notes

Ata Rangi Martinborough Pinot Noir is a luxurious, bold and elegant wine made from the finest grapes grown in the Martinborough vineyards in New Zealand. With a bright ruby color and aromas of black cherry, plum and violet, Ata Rangi Pinot Noir delights the senses with its rich and complex flavor profile that includes blackberry, raspberry, and a hint of mineral. The wine is balanced by a silky tannin structure and a long, smooth finish. This Pinot Noir is perfect for pairing with grilled lamb or salmon, and it is an ideal selection for savoring during special occasions or celebrating life's milestones.

About the Winery

Ata Rangi

In the local dialect of New Zealand, Ata Rangi means “new beginning.” That’s exactly what Clive Paton had in mind when he established the Ata Rangi wine brand in the year 1980, in the small village of Martinborough.  Soon, he went on to become one of the pioneer winemakers not only in this village but in New Zealand.  Along with his wife and expert team of winemakers, Paton ensures that he crafts exotic wines, even as he goes by his principle of minimum intervention.
