Taste Profile
Tasting Note
A refined and notably precise vintage, 2026 produced grapes with excellent natural acidity, fine phenolic ripeness, and lifted aromatics. In contrast to recent years, it favours purity and tension over power. A mild spring ensured an even, generous fruit set, while a moderately warm, dry summer, largely free of heat spikes, and despite late-February rains, allowed for steady, uninterrupted ripening.
Product Notes
Ataraxia Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing and zesty wine that captures the essence of the cool-climate region of South Africa's Western Cape. The wine is made from premium hand-selected grapes that are grown in vineyards situated at altitude with a combination of unique soils and climatic conditions that enable the grapes to thrive. This white wine is pale straw in color and exhibits bright citrus, tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, it's crisp and lively, with flavors of nectarine, green apple, and passionfruit, followed by a clean, zesty finish. Ataraxia Sauvignon Blanc pairs well with seafood, salads, and light meats. Overall, it's an exquisite wine that delivers a refreshing experience.
