Tasting Note

More than the sum of its parts, Heretic is a super Iberian blend, bringing savoury goodness to the wine, with a whiff of Shiraz. A wine for all seasons, Heretic has a cherry blossom nose with dark fruits on the soft, savoury palate. It finishes nicely and is tight and focused, and has a lovely, grainy structure and length.

Product Notes

Battle of Bosworth Heretic wine is a bold and rebellious choice for those looking to break free from traditional wine norms. This unique blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grapes is crafted in the Australian region of McLaren Vale, known for its rich and fertile soil. The result is a complex and full-bodied wine with notes of dark berries, spice, and a hint of smokiness. With its intense flavors and smooth finish, Battle of Bosworth Heretic is the perfect companion for those who dare to challenge convention and stand out from the crowd. It is a wine that demands attention and leaves a lasting impression.

About the Winery

Battle of Bosworth

Battle of Bosworth is a family-owned wine brand based out of one of the premium wine-growing regions in Australia, McLaren Vale. The grapes for these wines are sourced from the group’s own vineyards. The first vineyard for the Battle of Bosworth wines was established in McLaren Vale during as early as the 1840s. Joch Bosworth, who has created this label with the aim to take a legacy forward, reached a new milestone in his career in 1995, when he made the transition to organic viticultural practices.
