Tasting Note

In this wonderfully aromatic Soave from Italy's Veneto sage and mint, elderflower and cherry blossom waft into the nostrils, followed by an appetising shot of peach and apricot on the tongue.

Product Notes

Bertani Soave Vintage DOC is a fragrant and refreshing white wine that hails from the Verona region in Italy. Made from a blend of Garganega and Trebbiano grapes, this wine displays a bright golden yellow colour with light greenish reflections. With its elegant floral and fruity aroma, this wine boasts of flavours of yellow peach, citrus and delicate floral notes that blend onto the palate, resulting in a smooth, well-balanced finish. Aged in stainless steel tanks for three to four months, this wine is best served chilled and pairs well with light dishes such as seafood, salads and vegetarian dishes.

About the Winery

Bertani

It was in the year 1857 that brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani established the Bertani Winery in the small Italian region of Quinto di Valpantena, close to Verona. Gaetano, having learnt from the best French wine masters, wanted to implement the same techniques in his own style in Italy.
