Product Notes

Bisol Prosecco Superiore Edizione I Gondolieri is a premium Italian sparkling wine crafted by the renowned Bisol winery in the prestigious Prosecco Superiore DOCG region. This special edition pays homage to the iconic gondoliers of Venice, symbolizing elegance, tradition, and artisanal craftsmanship. Made from handpicked Glera grapes grown on the steep hillsides of Valdobbiadene, this prosecco exudes freshness and complexity with notes of green apple, white flowers, and citrus. The fine and persistent bubbles dance on the palate, delivering a crisp and vibrant finish. Perfect for celebrating special moments or simply savoring the essence of Italian winemaking at its finest.

Tasting Notes

The delicate straw yellow fades into a subtle and lively perlage. Elegant, savory, clean and direct. It makes comprehensibility and immediacy its strong point, it dazzles like the beauty of Venice. Harmonious bouquet with fruity notes of peach and nectarine emerging on very light sensations of saltiness.

About the Winery

Bisol

When a wine brand has been in the business for over five centuries and 21 generations, it is bound to be one of the most trusted wine brands in the world. We are talking about the Italian wine brand of Bisol. The Bisol family’s history can be traced back to as early as the 16th century. This was the time when the first generation of this family started growing their vines in the Cartizze hillside of the Prosecco country.

The vineyards of Bisol Wines are spread across the sprawling and magical terroris of Conegliano Valdobbiadene. The rocky slopes of these vines are so complex that cultivation and harvesting of the grapes can be done only by hand here. Ever wondered why Bisol is the home for the Prosecco Superior Wines? It is because every few kilometres of these terroirs contain different types of soil climates, which aids the cultivation of high quality of grapes.

It is no wonder that the process of vine cultivation is known as heroic viticulture in these terroirs. Due to the risky slopes, it takes at least 10 times more effort to cultivate and harvest the grapes here than it is required on the plains. Another feature that ensures that the grapes grown here are ripe and full-bodied is the climate that prevails here. The microclimate, with its constant winds and sunny climate, ensures that this place is the perfect place for the Glera grape varietal.

The cellars of the Bisol winery are designed in such a way that the temperature setting is controlled at a range between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. These cellars are perfectly equipped with storing historical bottles for over centuries now.  If you want to taste wines that are perfect representations of history and culture, you have to drink a Bisol wine to experience the heroic cultivation behind it.
