Tasting Note

A distinct aromatic profile of blackberries, wild herbs, rose petal, cedar, and granite leads to a precise and tightly woven palate, with chalky, incisive tannins. Red and blue fruits are layered with notes of, graphite, white pepper, and balsamic on the complex and elegant palate, a wine of reflection and finesse.

Product Notes

Bodega Aleanna El Enemigo As Bravas Malbec is a bold and powerful wine that showcases the best of Argentine winemaking. This Malbec is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, allowing the grapes to develop intense flavors and aromas. The wine displays a deep ruby color and aromas of dark berries, spices, and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it is full-bodied with rich flavors of blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate, complemented by firm tannins and a long, lingering finish. This wine pairs beautifully with red meat dishes, making it the perfect choice for a special dinner or celebration.

About the Winery

Bodega Aleanna

It was during the year 2009 that historian Adrianna Catena and soils engineer Alejandro Vigil decided to create a wine brand that would represent the true culture, tradition and history of Argentina. That’s how the El Enemigo Wine Brand was formed. Located in the wine-rich area of Mendoza in Argentina, the El Enemigo wines are made from the grapes cultivated in the region of Piedemonte al Sur, situated at the base of the Lujan de Cuyo. The unique soil and climate of this region have made this one of the best wine growing places in Argentina.
