Product Notes

Bodega Catena Zapata Catena Appellation Tupungato Chardonnay is a premium white wine produced in the Mendoza region of Argentina. This Chardonnay is made from grapes grown in the high altitudes of the Andes Mountains, at an elevation of 4,600 feet above sea level. This altitude provides the grapes with the necessary cool climate, leading to a slow ripening process, and giving the wine a fresh and fruity flavor profile. The wine is aged for ten months in oak barrels, adding depth and complexity to the wine. The result is a beautifully balanced wine with aromas of white flowers, pears, and peaches, finishing with a lovely minerality. This wine pairs well with white meat, fish, and cheese dishes.
