Product Notes

Bodega Norton Lote Negro Malbec Cabernet Franc is a beautiful blended wine from Argentina. It is a fantastic combination of two popular grape varieties Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The wine is deep ruby in color and has an exotic aroma of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherry, blackberry, and plum. The taste is rich and well-balanced, comprising notes of blackcurrant, anise, and dark chocolate, along with soft tannins and a long-lasting finish. The blend is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which contribute to the wine's smoothness and complexity. This wine is perfect with red meats and spicy dishes, and is an excellent choice for those who appreciate a bold and complex taste.

About the Winery

Bodega Norton

Located in the wine-rich Mendoza region of Argentina, Bodega Norton is an ancient and reputed winery that was established in 1895 by Sir Edmund James Palmer Norton. Almost 100 years later, in 1989, this wine label was acquired by a businessman from Austria, Gernot Langes-Swarovski. Today, the wines created by the Bodega Norton label are true representations of the character and flavour of the Argentinian grapes.
