Tasting Note

This wine is bright crimson in colour with purple hues. Elegant aromas of ripe red and black fruits, violet and cinnamon are combined with the signature minerality of wines from the Viña Lanciano estate, a smokiness from the oak and earthy, leathery aromas from the bottle age. The palate is silky and elegant, showcasing ripe fruits and finely integrated tannins. This is a remarkable Rioja with wonderful elegance and finesse.

Product Notes

Bodegas LAN Viña Lanciano Rioja Reserva is a rich and elegant red wine crafted by the renowned Spanish winery, Bodegas LAN. The wine is made from a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, and Mazuelo grapes grown in the Rioja region of Spain. Aged for 18 months in French oak, the wine has a deep ruby color and features aromas of red fruit, vanilla, and spices. On the palate, it is complex and full-bodied, with flavors of dark cherries, berries, and chocolate, followed by a long and smooth finish. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, stews, and hearty dishes.

About the Winery

Bodegas LAN

The history of Bodegas LAN wines dates back to 1972, the year when the brand set up its winery. LAN stands for Logrono, Alava and Navarra, the three provinces that are part of the DOC Rioja area in Spain. The fact that the brand has the name of its regions is enough to tell you that the wines crafted by it are true representations of the culture and heritage of the regions where they are grown.
