Product Notes

Château Lamothe-Cissac is a renowned winery producing exceptional wines in the prestigious Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux, France. This 100-acre estate has a rich history dating back to the 16th century and is known for its commitment to traditional winemaking techniques combined with modern innovation.

The flagship wine of Château Lamothe-Cissac is its Haut-Médoc blend, carefully crafted from a selection of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. The result is a deep, ruby red wine with intense aromas of black fruits, spices, and subtle oak nuances.

On the palate, the wine reveals a harmonious balance of ripe fruit flavors, silky tannins, and a long, elegant finish. With its exceptional structure and aging potential, Château Lamothe-Cissac Haut-Médoc wine is a true expression of the terroir and artistry behind Bordeaux winemaking. Perfect for pairing with grilled meats or hearty dishes, this wine promises a memorable and sophisticated drinking experience.

Tasting Notes

A traditional style of Bordeaux that has elegance and savoury fruit in abundance. Exhibits a dark ruby colour in the first years. Aerating the wine displays a large spectrum of aromas: notes of red (blackcurrant) and jammy fruits associated with soft spices and subtle vanilla. Well-balanced palate with soft tannins and a very delicate finish. Excellent age worthiness. Cellaring a few years will develop a complex mix of leather, undergrowth and smoky notes.
