Product Notes

Chateau Miraval Côtes de Provence Blanc is a beautiful and elegant wine that reflects the stunning French countryside where it is created. This white wine blend is a masterpiece of freshness and delicacy, with hints of citrus and crisp minerality. The wine is produced from a blend of Grenache, Rolle, and Clairette grapes, which are carefully selected and harvested by hand. The wine is aged in oak barrels which adds a subtle note of spice to the palate. Chateau Miraval Côtes de Provence Blanc will pair perfectly with light summer salads, grilled fish and poultry, or creamy pastas. A beautiful wine to enjoy on a warm summer day with family and friends.

Tasting Notes

The Miraval Blanc displays notes of fresh white peach, almond and white flowers enhanced by an underlying salinity and long textured finish.

About the Winery

Chateau Miraval

The wineries of France are known for producing exquisite quality of wines consistently. The Chateau Miraval Winery, located in the small village of Correns in South France, is no exception to this rule. This is one of the oldest wineries in France and its history is dated back to as early as the pre-Roman times; however, it came into the limelight in May 2008, when the winery was let out for lease by the chateau’s co-owners and Hollywood celebrities, Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie.

In the Middle Ages, this beautiful place was a monastery and served as a hiding place for the Bourbon kinds, many years later. Today, the winery domaine comprises of around 400 hectares. It is not without reason that this area is regarded as one of the top 500 wine producers in France today. The white wines of the chateau are manufactured under the Coteaux Varois appellation whereas the red, white and rose wines are manufactured under the Cotes de Provence appellation.

The wine cellar of this winery deserves a special mention because it was constructed in 1850 by the wine expert, Joseph Louis Lambot. In the year 2012, the Chateau Miraval Rose was declared as the world’s No.1 wine by the reputed Wine Spectator Magazine. Currently, the wines produced in this winery are manufactured under 3 labels – Coteaux Varois Blanc, Cotes de Provence Blanc and Cotes de Provence Rose.

The wines produced under the Coteaux Varois Blanc are made from 95% Rolle grape varietal and 5% Grenache Blanc varietal.  The Cotes de Provence Blanc appellation wines are made from 100% Rolle grape varietals. The Cotes de Provence Rose appellation wines are made from Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Rolle grape varietals. All these three labels are known for their full flavours and intense taste that linger on your tongues long after you have finished the drink.
