Product Notes

Chêne Bleu Aliot is an extraordinary blend of Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne, and Clairette Blanc grapes grown in the stunning vineyards of Southern France. This wine boasts a subtle golden hue with a balanced acidity, a mesmerizing fragrance of honey and jasmine, and flavors of ripe peach, apricot, and subtle hints of pear. The wine is aged for ten months in oak barrels before being bottled, making it rich and full-bodied.

The name “Chêne Bleu” translates to “blue oak” and pays homage to the estate's emblematic 600-year-old oak tree, which stands tall among the vineyards alongside breathtaking vistas of the nearby mountain range, Mont Ventoux. Chêne Bleu Aliot pairs perfectly with roasted chicken, seafood, creamy risotto, or a selection of French cheeses, reflecting the beauty and the taste of Southern France in a glass.

About the Winery

Chêne Bleu

The history of Chêne Bleu begins back in the 19th century. The winery consisted solely of vineyards planted on the Dentelles de Montmirail slopes and the main building. The earliest records of Chêne Bleu in the form of written archives indicate 1026. During those times, the land got used as a farming priory. It functioned and operated while depending on the proximate Abbaye de Prebayon.
