Product Notes

Cloudy Bay Te Koko Sauvignon Blanc is an iconic wine from the famed Marlborough wine region in New Zealand. It is a wine that has redefined the perception of the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, being crafted in a style that is sophisticated, complex, and layered with unique flavors. It has a straw yellow color with intense aromas of ripe citrus and stone fruit, just like its classic counterpart. However, it also has notes of vanilla, oak, and smoke from the use of French oak barrels and a prolonged lees aging. The wine is full-bodied with a creamy texture, balanced acidity, and a long, mineral finish. It pairs well with rich seafood, chicken, and veal dishes.

About the Winery

Cloudy Bay

Established in 1985, the Cloudy Bay wine label was one of the first to realise the potential of the Marlborough wine region in New Zealand. The founder of the label, David Hohnen, knew even in the 1980s that Marlborough would go on to become the most important wine-producing region in New Zealand and one of the most respected wine regions in the world.
