Tasting Note

This wine is delicate ruby red in colour. The rich, persistent mousse is accompanied by bright aromas of roses and raspberries. The slightly sweet, aromatic palate has a typical bittersweet note on the finish.

Product Notes

Contero Brachetto d'Acqui is a luscious and aromatic Italian sparkling wine hailing from the Asti region. Made entirely from the Brachetto grape variety, this wine is produced using the Charmat method, which preserves the natural sweetness and freshness of the fruit while achieving a fine and persistent perlage. Its brilliant ruby red color is accompanied by a vibrant bouquet of red fruits, such as raspberry and wild strawberry, combined with delicate floral scents. Contero Brachetto d'Acqui has a slightly sweet taste that suits perfectly with desserts or fruit salads, but can also be enjoyed as an aperitif or on its own.

About the Winery

Contero

Contero was formerly the Lombardini family property. Today, the estate is owned by the Marenco family. These are specialists of Brachetto and Moscato. The estate stands on land measuring 11 hectares and remains among some of the best producers of the most delicious and invigorating Brachetto d’Acqui and Moscato d’Asti. To make Moscato d’Asti, the best grapes are picked for use, which could explain the tantalizing outcomes that the estate has achieved so far.
