Tasting Note

Intense and inviting ruby red. The characteristic hints of cherries and pepper are particularly enjoyable in this wine, followed by subtle nuances of officinal herbs. Dry and well-balanced. The traditional acidic note combines well with the softness of the fruit to form a satisfying contrast and produce a supple, feisty wine.

Product Notes

Corte Giara Valpolicella DOC is a red wine that originates from the Veneto region of Italy. Made from the Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grape varieties, this wine has a deep ruby color with aromas of ripe berries, cherries, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a balanced acidity and soft tannins that make it easy to drink. The flavors are a complex mix of dark cherries, plum, and chocolate, with a persistent finish that lingers on the tongue. This wine pairs well with grilled meats, pasta with meat sauce, and aged cheeses. It is an excellent wine to enjoy with friends and family during a casual evening or at a special occasion.

About the Winery

Corte Giara

Established in 1989 in Italy’s Veneto region, the Corte Giara wine label was formed due to the partnership between the Allegrini Family and a small group of wine growers selected from Veneto. This brand uses the indigenous Veronese grapes to make classy wines. The fertile soils found in Veneto are absolutely ideal for growing this native varietal.
