COS Pithos Bianco DOC is a white wine from the vineyards on the island of Sicily. This wine is a blend of two white grapes indigenous to the region, Grecanico and Insolia, using ancient techniques to produce a unique flavour profile. The grapes are fermented and aged in clay amphorae, known as pithos, that give the wine a distinct character. The wine displays notes of white flowers, citrus fruits, and a mineral nuance, with a balanced acidity that complements seafood, pasta dishes, and vegetarian cuisine. The wine is also an excellent choice for an aperitif or to enjoy on a warm afternoon.

About the Winery

The Sicilian wine brand of Cos Wines was launched in 1980 by three expert winemakers – Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti and Cirino Strano.
