Product Notes

Cullen Diana Madeline Margaret River is a stunning wine from the Cullen Wines estate, located in the Margaret River region of Western Australia. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot grapes, this wine is a tribute to the late Diana Cullen, who co-founded the winery with her husband in 1971. The wine has aromas of violets, blackcurrant, and tobacco, and flavors of blackberry, chocolate, and espresso. It has a long, silky finish with fine tannins and is aged in French oak barrels for 17 months. Cullen Diana Madeline Margaret River is a delicious representation of the Margaret River region's terroir and a perfect pairing with beef, lamb, or game meats.

About the Winery

Cullen

It was during 1966 that Diana and Kevin Cullen realised the full potential of their vine-growing property located in Wilyabrup property located near Margaret River in Western Australia. The climate and soil quality of the place was so good that it had the potential to produce Bordeaux-quality wines.  Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling and Gewurztraminer were the first grape varietals planted on 17 acres of these vineyards in 1971.
