Product Notes

d'Arenberg The Ironstone Pressings GSM is a rich, full-bodied wine that is a blend of Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre grapes. The grapes are harvested from the Ironstone Vineyard, an iconic McLaren Vale vineyard, that features unique geological formations of ironstone. This wine is aged in oak barrels for up to 22 months, giving it a complex, matured flavor profile. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry jam, and dark chocolate are dominant on the nose; these aromas carry over to the palate, accompanied by notes of coffee, black pepper, and tobacco. The wine has a long, smooth finish, making it ideal to pair with roasted meats, game, or cheese.
