Tasting Note

This wine is pale golden in colour, with youthful reflections in the glass. On the nose, there are aromas of lemon with buttery characteristics. On the palate, balanced acidity and a mineral touch round off the citrus flavours before a lingering finish.

Product Notes

David Moret Saint-Romain is a renowned French winemaker who produces some of the finest white wines in Burgundy. Born in 1966, he has always had a passion for wine and winemaking. He grew up in a family of winemakers in Santenay and started his winemaking career in 1987. David is known for his commitment to quality and his respect for tradition. He believes that the terroir should be allowed to express itself in the wine, and so he focuses on natural winemaking techniques. David is widely applauded for his Saint-Romain Blanc, which is crisp, mineral-rich and has a beautiful mouthfeel. His wines are highly sought after and are considered some of the best in France.

About the Winery

David Moret

The story of David Moret started with the winemaker of the same name. The founder and owner of the winery, David Moret, began his involvement in the wine industry at a relatively early age. He pursued his studies in oenology and viticulture. After graduating, he wanted to set up his distinct vineyards as soon as possible. However, David’s dream got thwarted because he lacked a family domaine. That is why he had to sell various pieces of wine equipment to diverse vine growers from Burgundy.
