Domaine Pierre Damoy Chambolle-Musigny is a prestigious winery located in the Côte de Nuits region of Burgundy, France. The domaine comprises 11 hectares of vineyards spread across some of the most prized appellations in the area. The winery was founded in the early 20th century and has since become renowned for its elegant and refined Pinot Noir wines. The vineyards are meticulously tended to by highly skilled vineyard workers, with the grapes being handpicked and sorted. The wines are then aged for up to 18 months in French oak barrels before bottling. The resulting wines are complex, layered, and full of character, showcasing the unique terroir of the region.

About the Winery

Located in one of the world’s premium wine-producing regions of Burgundy in France, Domaine Pierre Damoy had its share of glory in the 1950s and 1960s. During this time, this estate was one of the most prestigious and popular of all estates in Gevrey Chambertin, a village in Burgundy’s Cote d’Or. During those days, this village had quite a few underachievers in terms of wine production. Domaine Pierre Damoy was one of them. Like other estates in this village, this Domaine also produced red wines with a firmer body and more tannin than other red wines produced in Burgundy.
