Tasting Note

Pale ruby red in colour with an elegant bouquet of raspberries, cherries and mint on the nose. The palate is fresh with nuances of white pepper from the time in oak. The wine has silky tannins with a balanced and persistent finish.

Product Notes

Donnafugata Sul Vulcano Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese is a complex and elegant wine made from the Nerello Mascalese grape variety, grown on the slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy. This wine has a rich ruby color with aromas of red fruits, spices, and a hint of minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied with balanced acidity and firm tannins, offering flavors of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of pepper. The volcanic soil enhances its unique flavors, making it a great pairing with grilled meats, pasta dishes, and hard cheeses. This wine is perfect for special occasions or simply enjoyed with friends and family.
