This wine has a brilliant straw yellow colour. It has intense aromas of green apple and white peach combined with floral notes of elderflower. The palate reflects the nose enlivened by some aromatic herbs, and a persistent savoury finish.

The vineyards, located in the hilly region of Contessa Entellina, are cultivated with the utmost care, ensuring an exceptional quality of grapes. This wine is made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, which are meticulously picked and harvested by hand. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, giving it a complex aroma of blackberries, cherries, and spices. The taste is bold and intense, with a long and persistent finish. Donnafugata Vigna di Gabri is a true expression of Sicilian terroir and is the perfect wine to pair with hearty meat dishes or mature cheeses.
