Tasting Note

At first swirl, the wine displays aromas of black currant, black cherry and blackberry. Several more minutes reveal hints of cardamom, white pepper, cumin and dried herbs. The palate has dark berry flavours along with earthy complexity and savoury tones. It finishes with notes of mocha, marzipan, fine leather and black tea. Good acidity will help this wine to age beautifully for years to come.

Product Notes

Dry Creek Vineyard's The Mariner Red Blend wine is a masterpiece of artistry and craftsmanship from the renowned Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma County, California. This exquisite wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, creating a harmonious balance of rich, complex flavors. The wine offers a deep ruby color with aromas of black cherry, plum, and spice, leading to a velvety smooth texture and layers of dark fruit, chocolate, and oak on the palate. The Mariner Red Blend is a truly exceptional wine that showcases the best of Dry Creek Vineyard's commitment to quality and tradition.

About the Winery

Dry Creek Vineyard

Dry Creek Vineyard was established in the year 1972 by David Stare. In the Dry Creek Valley, there were only a few family-owned wine estates until then. However, David wanted to go beyond this and make the northern Sonoma County one of the premium wine-growing regions in the world. As a result, he was one of the first winemakers to setup a Loire Valley inspired winery here.
