Product Notes

Failla Wines Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a delightful expression of this grape variety from America's acclaimed wine region, Sonoma. It is a bright and complex wine with a pale straw-yellow color. The nose offers a bouquet of blossoming white flowers, baked apple, and citrus notes, complemented by a hint of oak. The flavor profile is rich and smooth, with delicious layers of peach, honeydew, and almond cream, underlined by a vibrant acidity that makes the wine bright and refreshing. The finish is long, with a slight hint of vanilla and hazelnut. It is an excellent wine with shellfish, roasted chicken, grilled fish, or creamy pasta dishes.

Tasting Notes

Aromatically the Chardonnay has more citrus-driven notes, with a sprinkling of yellow apples and pineapples. On the palate, the wine has refreshing minerality, a touch of well-integrated oakiness, and crunchy pears.
