Tasting Note

La Grola is a full bodied, intense, and elegant wine. Dark ruby red in colour, it has aromas of wild berries, black pepper, with subtle notes of forest floor and tobacco.

Product Notes

Allegrini La Grola is a fantastic red wine made in the Valpolicella region of Italy. This beautiful wine features a deep ruby color and a powerful aroma filled with ripe black cherry, blackberry, and vanilla notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich flavor of dark fruits, coffee, and chocolate. Tempered with a nice balance of acidity and tannins, it finishes off with a lasting, elegant aftertaste. This wine is produced from a blend of Corvina, Syrah, and Oseleta grapes, and is aged in oak barrels for 16 months to enhance its complexity and richness. Allegrini La Grola pairs beautifully with grilled meats, pasta dishes, and mature cheeses.
