Product Notes

Arianna Occhipinti Siccagno Nero d'Avola Sicilia is a beautifully crafted wine hailing from the rustic region of Sicily. Made with the indigenous Nero d'Avola grape variety, this ruby red wine exudes aromas of black cherry, tobacco, and black pepper. On the palate, it displays flavors of ripe blackberry, plum, and dark chocolate, complemented by a tinge of oak and subtle tannins for a smooth finish. The wine is crafted by noted Italian winemaker Arianna Occhipinti, who is known for her devotion to minimal intervention winemaking and use of organic farming practices. The resulting wine is a splendid expression of Terroir, showcasing the unique characteristics of Sicily's soil and environment. It is a perfect accompaniment to rich, hearty meals, and an ideal addition to any wine lover's collection.

About the Winery

Arianna Occhipinti

Established in 2009, Arianna Occhipinti is an Italian winery founded by a lady of the same name. She is known for the care and techniques used for growing the Italian native grape varietals of Nero d’ Avola and Frappato. Right from a young age, she was fascinated about vines and winemaking, thanks to frequent visits to her uncle’s wine estate in Sicily. She was just 22 when she started her own wine label.
