Atzei

Atzei is the Sardinian estate of the Fantini Group, established by Valentino Sciotti, who founded the company in 1994 with the vision of showcasing the finest wines from southern Italy and its islands. Having long admired Sardinia's distinctive landscapes and indigenous grape varieties, Sciotti created Atzei to highlight the island's exceptional winemaking potential.

The project is led by chief oenologist Dennis Verdecchia, working alongside Sardinian winemaker Daniele Manca and renowned consultant Alberto Antonini. Together, they craft a range of premium wines from carefully selected vineyards surrounding the village of Mogoro, just south of Oristano in southwestern Sardinia. Staying true to Fantini's philosophy, Atzei focuses on unlocking the potential of lesser-known wine regions by cultivating native grape varieties that thrive in their local terroir, producing expressive wines that reflect the island's unique character and rich viticultural heritage.
