Tasting Note

Deep red color with intense ruby hues. Very fruity on the nose, with blackcurrant, strawberry, floral and minty notes coming through, followed by aromas of cassis, graphite and coffee bean. On the palate, the wine is balanced and pleasant, with texture, and refined tannins. A fruity middle palate leads to an elegant and long aftertaste.

About the Winery

Barons de Rothschild Lafite/Catena- Bodegas CARO

The partnership between barons de Rothschild Lafite and Catena family started in 1999. It started as an idea which eventually turned into a concrete plan to create a stable wine in an effort to combine the Argentine and French cultures. This was to be done using the signature grapes of the producers. These are cabernet sauvignon and malbec.
