Product Notes

Bertani Recioto della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG is a sweet wine that is known for its intense flavors and aroma. Made from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes, this wine is produced in the Valpolicella region of northern Italy. The grapes are harvested at the end of September or early October, and left to dry for around 100 days. This process concentrates the sugars and flavors in the grapes, resulting in a wine that is rich, full-bodied, and highly aromatic. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months, and has a deep ruby red color. It is the perfect wine to pair with rich desserts or strong cheeses, and is best served at room temperature.

About the Winery

Bertani

It was in the year 1857 that brothers Giovan Battista and Gaetano Bertani established the Bertani Winery in the small Italian region of Quinto di Valpantena, close to Verona. Gaetano, having learnt from the best French wine masters, wanted to implement the same techniques in his own style in Italy.
