Brown Brothers is a well-known Australian winery based in Milawa, Victoria. It’s been family-owned since it was founded in 1889 by John Francis Brown, and today it’s still run by members of the Brown family as part of the Brown Family Wine Group. With over 130 years of winemaking behind them, the Browns have built a strong reputation for quality, tradition, and a willingness to try new things.

From the very beginning, Brown Brothers has stood out for its experimental approach. Instead of sticking only to classic grapes like Shiraz and Chardonnay, they were among the first in Australia to plant alternative varieties like Sangiovese, Tempranillo, and Dolcetto.
