Tasting Note

A fruity, spicy Chianti Riserva. Aromas of fresh red fruits, particularly cherries, come through on a nose underlaid by hints of vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and well balanced, with lots of juicy fruit flavours and soft tannins.

Product Notes

Cantine Leonardo da Vinci Chianti Riserva is a premium Italian red wine made from the finest Sangiovese grapes grown in the heart of Tuscany. This wine is a full-bodied, dry and complex red wine with an intense ruby color and an inviting aroma of ripe cherries, blackberries and a hint of vanilla. The wine is aged for a minimum of 24 months giving it a velvety texture and a well-structured tannin. On the palate, it has a harmonious balance of acidity and fruit flavors with a long-lasting finish. It is an ideal accompaniment to rich pasta dishes, roasted meats, and aged cheese.
