Product Notes

Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is a premium wine produced in the Chianti region of Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Canaiolo, creating a rich, complex flavor profile with a long finish. Aged for at least two years in oak barrels, Carpineto Chianti Classico Riserva features aromas of cherry, blackberry, and spice, while the taste is bold and full-bodied with a perfect balance of acidity and tannins. This wine pairs wonderfully with roasted meats, pasta dishes with red sauce, and mature cheeses. It's a perfect wine for special occasions or to enjoy with a delicious meal.

About the Winery

Carpineto

It was the winemaking passion of wine experts, Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo that resulted in the birth of the Italian wine label, Carpineto in the year 1967. The name of the brand is inspired by the Greek word, carpos, which means fruit. Today, the younger generation of these experts are doing their best to take the legacy of the brand forward, in their own style, without compromising on the traditional winemaking methods.
