Château Sainte Marguerite

Founded in 1929, Château Sainte Marguerite is one of the most prestigious wine estates in Provence, located near the Mediterranean coast in the appellation of La Londe-les-Maures, between Toulon and Saint-Tropez in southern France. The estate was acquired by the Fayard family in 1977, when Brigitte and Pierre Fayard began revitalising the vineyards and elevating wine quality. Today, the winery remains family-owned and is managed by the second generation, Jean-Pierre and Olivier Fayard. In 2022, the family entered a strategic partnership with luxury group Pernod Ricard, which acquired a majority stake while the Fayards retained operational control and stewardship of the estate.

Château Sainte Marguerite is renowned for its commitment to organic viticulture, having been certified organic since 1974, making it one of Provence’s pioneers in sustainable farming. The estate specialises in premium rosé wines, particularly under its Symphonie and Fantastique ranges, while also producing elegant white and red wines. Its wines are celebrated for their purity, freshness, refined aromatics and expression of Provence’s coastal terroir, earning recognition among the leading producers of luxury rosé in the world.
