Product Notes

Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium wine known for its exceptional quality and bold flavors. Made from carefully selected grapes grown in the renowned Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, this wine displays a deep garnet color and an intense aroma of black currant, cocoa, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a rich and complex structure that features flavors of blackberry, plum, and hints of spice. The tannins are firm and provide a long and satisfying finish. This wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged cheeses. Chimney Rock Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon is a must-try for any wine connoisseur.

About the Winery

Chimney Rock

When Stella and Hack Wilson bought a piece of land on the eastern edge of the Silverado Route in 1980 to construct their home and establish vines, the Chimney Rock started to take shape. Both red and white grapes were planted on the initial 59 acres, and the first batch of wines was created in 1984. The estate was expanded in the early nineties to include the tasting room and the Cape Dutch-inspired winery building. The Terlato family became a shareholder in the winery with the Wilson family in 2000. The remaining 46 acres of land were planted with Cabernet Sauvignon in 2002. Since 2004, when the Terlato family became the sole owners of Chimney Rock, they have had a clear idea of the possibilities of this magnificent estate.
