Desire Lines Wine Co. is a boutique winery founded by winemaker Cody Rasmussen and his wife, Emily Rasmussen, in 2016. Based in Sonoma County, California, the winery is renowned for crafting expressive, site-driven wines that highlight unique vineyard sites across California. Cody honed his winemaking skills at Bedrock Wine Co., where he worked alongside renowned winemaker Morgan Twain-Peterson, gaining invaluable experience with old-vine vineyards and minimalist winemaking techniques. Emily, with a background in the wine industry, also contributed to the team at Bedrock Wine Co., where she shared Cody’s passion for crafting thoughtful and authentic wines.

Desire Lines specializes in producing small-batch, artisanal wines with a focus on Syrah, Mourvèdre, and other Rhône varieties, along with distinctive whites such as Riesling. Each wine is a reflection of California’s diverse terroir, capturing the essence of each vineyard’s character. The winery’s approach emphasizes sustainable farming, gentle handling in the cellar, and a dedication to purity and balance.
