Fossil Point Winery takes its name from a dramatic headland on California’s Central Coast, where rugged cliffs meet the Pacific Ocean. Just inland, in the cool-climate Edna Valley of San Luis Obispo County, Fossil Point crafts wines that reflect the region’s unique coastal terroir. The winery is owned and operated by Corbett Vineyards LLC, which has been producing wine under the Fossil Point label since 2010. Native yeast fermentations, minimal intervention, and careful timing are central to their approach, resulting in expressive wines that speak of place rather than process.
