It is produced by John Duval, who is known for his exceptional winemaking skills and his long history of working with some of the most renowned wineries in Australia. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, which imparts rich and complex flavors of dark fruit, black pepper, and spice. This full-bodied wine has a great structure, balanced acidity, and smooth tannins. The palate is luxurious and full, with a long and elegant finish that lingers on the senses. This wine is a true representation of the Barossa Valley's unique terroir and the winemaker's expertise.

About the Winery

John Duval

Located in the Barossa Valley of Australia, John Duval Wines was established in 2003. John Duval, the founder, had rich experience in the field of winemaking as he had spent close to three decades with one of Australia’s most reputed wineries, Penfolds. The Duval family also managed quite a few high-quality vineyards. They had supplied Shiraz grapes to Penfolds, even before John quit that company to launch his own wine label in 2003.
