Kautz & Kramer is a premium wine label from the Kautz family, one of California’s most established wine-growing families. The brand was created to honour the marriage of John Kautz and Gail Kramer in 1958 and to celebrate their lasting legacy in the Lodi wine region. It represents the family’s dedication to crafting distinctive, high-quality wines that reflect the character of their vineyards.

The Kautz family owns and operates Kautz Vineyards Inc., a family-run business managing over 7,000 acres of vines across the Lodi American Viticultural Area (AVA) and the Sierra Foothills. Kautz & Kramer serves as a boutique expression within the larger portfolio, focusing on small-lot production and attention to detail from vineyard to bottle.

The winery’s range includes wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon “Block 50” from Lodi and Cabernet Franc from Sheldon Ranch. These wines are known for their rich, balanced style, often showing notes of ripe plum, vanilla, cranberry, and spice, enhanced by careful oak ageing.
