Les Bottes Rouges Arbois Gibus Trousseau is a fine and elegant red wine from the Jura region of France. Made from the indigenous Trousseau grape, this wine has a deep ruby color and enticing aromas of wild berries, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a refreshing acidity that balances the rich fruit flavors. The wine has a long and smooth finish, making it a perfect pairing for a variety of dishes, from roasted meats to hearty cheeses. About the Winery

Les Bottes Rouges is a highly regarded organic and low-intervention winery in the Jura, based in Abergement-le-Petit, just outside Arbois. The domaine was founded by Jean-Baptiste Ménigoz, who originally worked as a schoolteacher before becoming increasingly fascinated by wine. After spending years working in vineyards alongside local vignerons, he trained with Jura benchmark producer Stéphane Tissot and established Les Bottes Rouges in 2012. The domaine takes its name from a song by French rock band Les Wampas, reflecting Ménigoz's independent, unconventional spirit.
