Tasting Note

In our mind, this is comfortably the best Geronimo to date. We were blown away by the precision and elegance that Lukas’ has drawn out of the variety in this 2019 being imbued with bright, bristling crunchy red fruit and a persistent line of acidity, pink peppercorns, pink grapefruit and pomegranate seeds. While refreshing and enticing now, we’d love to taste it again in five years.

Product Notes

Lukas Van Loggerenberg's Geronimo Cinsault is a unique and refreshing expression of South African winemaking. Made solely from Cinsault grapes, this wine is a true reflection of what this grape variety can achieve in the right hands. The wine is light to medium-bodied with vibrant red fruit flavors and a fresh and lively acidity. It shows a great balance of fruit and acidity, making it an ideal companion to light meals or simply enjoyed on its own. The wine has a beautiful floral perfume that adds to its elegance. Overall, Lukas Van Loggerenberg's Geronimo Cinsault offers an exciting and refreshing drinking experience that wine lovers will enjoy.
