About Mura Mura

Mura Mura is a boutique winery in Piedmont, Italy, founded in 2008 by childhood friends Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom, best known as the creators of the acclaimed gelato brand GROM. Their passion for land, craftsmanship, and hospitality led them to Costigliole d’Asti, where they established an estate that combines fine winemaking with gastronomy and immersive guest experiences.

The property spans around 30 hectares, with 10 hectares planted to local grapes such as Barbera and Grignolino, and additional vineyard holdings in some of Piedmont’s most prestigious crus of Barbaresco and Barolo. A one-hectare parcel in Serralunga d’Alba further strengthens their presence in the Langhe. The estate is SQNPI-certified, reflecting a commitment to sustainable farming and respect for the environment.

Mura Mura produces two main collections: Rigore, a line dedicated to pure, single-cru Nebbiolo wines from Barolo and Barbaresco, and Fantasia, an expressive range showcasing Piedmont’s native varietals, including Barbera, Nebbiolo, Grignolino, and Moscato.

Beyond winemaking, Mura Mura embodies a lifestyle philosophy, offering a boutique relais, the estate restaurant Radici, and unique guest stays such as vineyard-side tree houses. The winery has quickly earned recognition for producing elegant, soulful wines that capture the spirit of Piedmont.
