Philip Togni

Philip Togni Vineyard is one of Napa Valley’s benchmark family-owned estates, located high on Spring Mountain above St. Helena at roughly 2,000 feet elevation. Founded in 1975 by legendary winemaker Philip Togni and his wife Birgitta Togni, the winery remains under family ownership, with daughter Lisa Togni playing a leading role in winemaking and estate management.

The organically farmed estate is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, with all wines produced exclusively from estate fruit. The flagship Philip Togni Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic Bordeaux-inspired blend celebrated for structure, longevity, and mountain freshness. Alongside it, Tanbark Hill Cabernet Sauvignon offers a more approachable, earlier-drinking expression, while Ca’ Togni is a rare sweet red wine made from Black Hamburgh. Known for precision, restraint, and remarkable aging potential, the wines are considered among Napa’s most age-worthy and traditional mountain Cabernets.
