Product Notes

Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is a distinguished and refined red wine from the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Made primarily from Sangiovese grapes, this wine features a deep ruby color and complex aromas of ripe red fruits, dark cherries, and subtle hints of spice and earth. On the palate, it is full-bodied, velvety, and well-balanced, with smooth tannins and a long, elegant finish. Poliziano Vino Nobile di Montepulciano is aged in oak barrels for at least two years, adding depth and complexity to its flavor profile. It is the perfect accompaniment to rich dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses.

About the Winery

Poliziano

Azienda Agricola Poliziano is a distinguished family-owned winery located in Montepulciano, in the heart of Tuscany, Italy. The estate was founded in 1961 by Dino Carletti, who acquired 22 hectares of vineyard land in the region. Its name pays homage to the Renaissance poet Angelo Ambrogini, known as Il Poliziano, a native of Montepulciano, reflecting the winery’s deep connection to local culture and heritage. Management later passed to Dino’s son, Federico Carletti, who expanded both the vineyards and the winery’s reputation for producing high-quality wines. Today, the Carletti family continues to oversee operations, combining traditional practices with modern viticulture and winemaking techniques.
